This photo was taken on a cold but beautiful winter day in Reykjavík, Iceland, a few weeks ago.
For some days now, the weather has been more like early spring and it is fooling the plants already! They are showing some green way too soon!
I was reminded of these cold days when looking at a beautiful textile art piece made by a dear Friendship Tapestry- and blog-friend Judy. You can see her picture in an online exhibition called Winter Wonderland here She really captures the cold of winter :-)

Dear Judy, good to see a comment from you. My computer crashed and I lost all my emails and adresses. I am hoping we can get them off the computer but I am not convinced about that. I tried to add a comment on your blog but couldn´t send it. I will try again.
I finally have a new/used computer to use and am working on getting things working for me again.
How fast we get used to these things, one is totally lost without those computers haha

Dear Judy,
thank you for your concern. We are fine in all of Iceland, except the area around the glacier volcano Eyjafjallajökull. The farmers are living a nightmare there while trying to safe their animals and watching their land loose it´s color and just turn ash black. The rescue teams, police and Red Cross plus all the farmers in the area are doing an amazing job.
But as I say, everywhere else is just normal day to day life.
I am sorry, I have not posted anything on my blogs or website lately. I am still not completely over my computer troubles. Will solve it soon though :-)
